Water line break

Overbrook City Clerk, Jim Koger, has announced a water main break, east of Overbrook, near the city wells. Water break will be repaired today, Feb. 1, near the wells.

Country customers on the city four inch cast line will be affected beginning at 8 a.m. For more information, call city hall at (785) 665-7328.

Overbrook Water Main Break

Overbrook has announced they have a water main break on 7th St. east of Maple St. Repair will begin at 8:30 a.m. today, Thursday, Jan. 31. Customers east of Maple from 5th St. north, including Highway 56, will be affected.

USPS Mail Service Suspended

The U.S. Postal Service has announced it will suspend delivery operations throughout Kansas on Wednesday, Jan. 30, as extremely cold temperatures sweep through the nation.

The USPS says they will not provide residential or commercial package pick up services, nor will they collect mail from businesses or collection boxes.

Retail operations at local offices will be be available, but may be limited.

Water Main Break, City of Overbrook

City of Overbrook has announced they have a water main break on Walnut Street, just south of Market Street. They will do the repair on starting at 8:30 a.m. Monday, Jan 28. Service will be interrupted on both sides of Walnut from Market Street south, both sides of Cedar Street from Market Street south and at the main co-op building.
