Edrie Leona Peimann

OSAGE CITY—Edrie Leona Peimann, Vassar, died Aug. 2, 2014, at Osage Nursing Center. He was 87.
She was born Nov. 28, 1926, on the family farm south of Vassar, the daughter of Clarence and Hallie McCreight Brecheisen. She lived all of her life in and around the Vassar community.

She worked at Vassar Tea Room, was a homemaker and babysitter. She was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church and the L.W.M.L.

She married Dean Peimann Dec. 2, 1949, at Vassar. He preceded her in death on May 20, 1993.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Ron Peimann on Dec. 13, 2013.

She is survived by four sons, David Peimann and wife, Susie, Lyndon, John Peimann and wife, Jenny, Shawnee, Alan Peimann and wife, Michelle, Hillsboro, and James Peimann and wife, Kristin, Louisville, Ky.; two brothers, Paul Brecheisen, Lyndon, and Charles Brecheisen, Topeka; a sister, Ruth “Maxine” Miller, Topeka; and three granddaughters.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Aug. 5 at Zion Lutheran Church, Vassar. The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. until service time on Tuesday at the church. Burial will follow at Vassar Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Edrie Peimann Memorial Fund or the Zion Lutheran Church, and sent in care of Feltner Funeral Home, 818 Topeka Ave., Lyndon, KS 66451.
