Rosline Robert Fellman

STILLWATER, Okla.—Rosline Robert Fellman, Osage City, passed peacefully from this life Oct. 2, 2014, at Stillwater, Okla., with her family at her side. She was 94.

She was born Jan. 17, 1920, at Osage City, to Albert and Evona Mathieu Robert. She was raised in Osage City, graduating from Osage City High School in 1938.

She married the love of her life, Howard Charles Fellman Aug. 26, 1940, a marriage that would last nearly 50 years and ended due to his death in 1990. The couple had two children, Carol Sue and Charles Howard.

She spent the majority of her life working as an administrative assistant at several different doctors’ offices. She was a member of various clubs and church groups at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church and a lifelong resident of Osage City, where she resided until moving to Stillwater, Okla., in 2007, to be closer to her family.

She was a generous woman with a giving spirit. She volunteered as a delivery driver for Mobile Meals and her cinnamon rolls were a local favorite. She was happiest when she was surrounded by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Evona Robert; a best friend, Howard Charles Fellman; and three siblings, Marguerite Robert Myzer, Howard Robert and LaVerne Robert Berry.

She is survived by two children, Carol Sue Fairbanks and husband, David, Stillwater, Okla., and Charles Howard Fellman and wife, Sue, Baytown, Texas; six grandchildren, Bill Fellman, John Fellman, Elaine Fairbanks Renfrow and husband, Jeff, Ellen Fairbanks Wood and husband, Jason, Frank Fairbanks and wife, Courtney and Erin Fairbanks and wife, Amanda; 10 great-grandchildren, Avah Fellman, Ann Marie and Samantha Fellman, Reese, Grant, and Bree Renfrow, Ainsley and Carter Wood, Harper Fairbanks and Jackson Fairbanks; and many nieces, nephews and other family members.

Services have been entrusted to the care of VanArsdale Funeral Home, Osage City. A parish rosary will be 7 p.m. Oct. 6 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Osage City. A Mass of Christian burial will be 10 a.m. Oct. 7 at the church with burial following at Union Cemetery, Osage City.

The family wishes to thank the staff of Westhaven Nursing Center, Stillwater Medical Center, and Good Shepherd Hospice for the kindness and compassion they showed to Rosline during her illness.
